Natural gas is instant, clean and environmentally friendly.
It is highly flammable, burns almost completely and is considered a clean fuel as it doesn’t produce any ash, dust or smoke. When natural gas burns efficiently in the air it only produces energy, water and carbon dioxide (CO2).
It produces less C02 in than coal, wood or oil. Natural gas has significantly fewer hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide emissions and contains none of the sulphates or potentially carcinogenic particulates as other fuels can. It creates fewer byproducts of combustion than any other fuel.
Natural gas is an environmentally-friendly alternative to ozone-destroying CFCs in aerosol propellants and refrigerants.
Research shows heating systems powered by electricity can produce up to six times as many greenhouse gas emissions as an energy efficient gas central heating system.
Natural gas’s cleaner burning and low emissions make it a sensible choice for any business or home committed to environmentally sound energy solutions.
