In an emergency, when you can smell gas or there is a problem with the pipeline or installation, call 111 immediately and ensure the immediate area is vacated urgently.
Problems in or on the side of the road
If there is a problem on the roadside of your gas meter you need to call the gas retailer.
If there is a major problem, such as a gas leak, the gas retail company or emergency services (111) should be called immediately.
Property
Where problems arise on the homeowner or business’ property, a gasfitter should be called.
Gasfitters can be found in the yellow pages.
Appliances
If you have a problem with any appliance in your home or on your premises you should call the gas appliance retailer or a gasfitter who can be found in the yellow pages.
